Uni is going well,,far less crowded than it was the first couple of weeks, but with 3 reports  week, as well as 4 theory subjects, it's getting hard to juggle everything, as well as doing the things im yearning for, like crochet, watching anime and movies, reading my new manga and borrowed books (as well as the ones i own) haven't been doing any yoga since the beginning of the semester either!! but at least im paying more attention to my studies.. which feels kinda fulfilling..
Oh!! i did get one thing done: i make a book cosy  :p cos one of my pet peeves is a tattered book, like when i put a book in my bag and it gets ruined when things rub or spill on it  >:@ grr,, and i put 3 buttons as fasteners, instead of a zip or anything that would b a hassle  =D
The weather today was AMAZING!! nice an d cold, as well as a lil' windy, with a splash of rain.. it was the calmest drive of the semester!! i just couldnt believe the amount of cars i saw that had their windows up!! it's such a waste in this beautiful weather.. Winter is FINALLY around the corner ^.^
Anyways, have another report to finish, then a botany midterm to study for...

No wayyyyyy! KwMs stopped airing at episode 26!! Fans all over the web are hoping the same as i am that a season 2 is on the way.. Talk about leaving us begging for more! I don't know what I'd do if that's the end..  i ordered the manga series,, but of course it wont be the same thing. Like Ouran, the anime series ended at it's climax,, just when it was the most amazing.... they cut u off. bummer.
Yumeiro Patissiere now has a sequel : Yumeiro Patissiere Professional. i plan on watching the first episode today, along with Shippuden #179.
Ja ne
P.S: Second week back is looking good.. labs(Micro 107&204) seem repetitive of Micro 105 though.. really basic, but with extra details..  but fun anyway!!   =)

A New Beginning

Today was the first day of a new semester at university. It was more crowded than ever before!! Being stuck in traffic for an hour on the way to uni (and another on the way back because of an over-turned truck) made me wish i wasn't a licensed driver!! With so many freshman flooding in from high schools, the parking lots and corridors alike were jam-packed.. I only hope that as the week progresses, and classes are more stable,  the never-ending waves of people thin down..
*On a happier note; Quite a few of my Micro friends are taking Virology with me, my professor seems nice, and the lab we were supposed to take at 2 was cancelled ( because it's the first day and all).
Here's to hoping that my next 3 subjects and 3 labs go as well..  =)
*KwMs update ::::
I'm totally loving these last two episodes!! (25 &26) FINALLLLLY .It took Misaki long enough! Puppy eyes Usui looked so SAD in 25, adorable! It's cute the way You-kun keeps trying to beat Usui, but doesn't he know that Usui will always be five steps ahead of him, with his arms around Misaki? I watched 26 last night, it was sooo sweet.. Typical Usui tho,, messing with her : with the sweets and fried food "To spark jealousy"  LOL, and with the Ramen feeding event, they make such a kawaii couple. Very unexpected turn of events the way Misaki "confessed" neh? Didn't think she had it in her .
I can't wait for the next episode, will Misaki allow their relationship to go public? Or will she try to sweep it all under the rug?!? Not like she can pretend it didn't happen or play dumb the way she usually does. 27 should be VERY interesting..... ^.^.
Especially with the Miyabigouka pres's appearance in the preview (NOW what does he want?! >:@ )
*Reading the manga could be interesting, might order it from Amazon (along with Death Note, and Ouran), but I'm not sure if that would make noticing changes in the anime series a little depressing.....?!?!?!
Anyways, i filed for an internet pre-paid with my bank.. it should arrive sometime this week, if not at the beginning of next week.
*P.S: The yarn finally arrived for the tapestry rug ends my mom's friend asked me to crochet! So I can finish that off and complete another project  =D

Update

Summer is ending.
I realize that blogging has dropped to the bottom of my priority list lately, what with summer course at uni, and my brother graduating from university in England. And I never did post pix of those finished crochet projects, so..
This is a Gyffindor house scarf-bookmark i made for a friend as a Thank you for lending me some summer-reading books+ an end of semester present. I'm thinking of making three more with for the other houses. I chose Harry Potter 'cos she's a massive fan of the books and films. So much so that she frequently casts spells, like Avada Cadavra, when she thinks I'm being mean.. =P

I finally finished my aunt's bag. i think it came out rather nice (if i do say so myself)...  ^.^

Here's another picture of the bag.

Finally got around to taking some pictures of my laptop case. Complete with turquoise satan lining, and a zipper. It really compliments my vaio laptop :P

Been keeping busy this summer, 1st it was summer course, then my brother came back from England,, but I've also been reading, watching anime while crocheting big projects (like my mom's blanket, and embellishing her friend's tapestry rug).
I borrowed 12 books from my friend. So far I've read:
-Sharp objects, by Gillan Flynn ( That was a nice read)
-The mark, by Jason Pinter (Very interesting. Truly a page turner)
- couldn't get through Cage of stars, by Jaquelyn Mitchard (It wasn't my cup of tea)
- Stephen King's The dead zone was quite good.. Just recently finished it.. it took me some time to get my head around the fact that everything took place in the 70's,, it was a little hard, since i couldn't really imagine the way they dressed, walked, and talked.. but i liked it.
- Currently reading the memory keeper's daughter. So far it seems good.
{using my butterfly bookmark i made }
I decided that I'm going to start documenting the books i read by taking a picture of the date before reading, then commenting on it after i finish it. =D
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, some of the anime i watched:
- Ouran high school host club: In short, it was goofy.
The drawing was nice for the most part, but i think they went over-board with the exaggerated facial expressions, because my favorite part of watching anime is seeing the amazing artwork, the way that the eyes and hair are drawn, but this feels laazy, like they want to get it over and done with. Other than that, Host club was funny, and refreshing. What made it even funnier was the fact that Haruhi seemed oblivious to the way Hikaru and Kaoru tease Tamaki by flirting with her,and then she pushes Tamaki away when he tries to help her. X )

- Vampire knight & Vampire knight guilty

The artwork was nice (except for the necks being too big and chunky for the head). The story WAS a little repetitive, girl loves vamp and does any and everything to be with him. But the ending what ... strange. A little twisted. But the seres was enjoyable.
- Myself, yourself is another anime that i watched, it was ok. sad tho.
- Amegami SS, Very strange, and the story goes back to the beginning and takes another path every few episodes. i didn't really like that, so stopped at episode 10.
* And now the ongoing anime, these are the ones I'm watching every week as a new episode is launched:
- Keeping up with Shippuuden. i LOVE it! best story line, and artwork with the least amount of "goofy" drawing i've seen (after Death Note, of course).
- Yumeiro Patissiere, at episode 48, i like the way it focuses on cooking in a kawaii way. It got me motivated to get in the kitchen and try stuff out. (Which my mom is happy about  :P)
I tried the Milles de crepe that they made. But it came out a little bland ( which was rectified with cherry syrup) and a tad soggy, for that i blame the recipe, so will be trying a different one.

-Kaichou wa maid-sama is AWESOME!! (episode 25 should be out tonight on Animefreak!!)  .It inspired me to self- improve (is that the term? ) i really like it. But as with Ouran ,they over did it with the goofy parts, sure it's funny when Usui's face goes kinda chibi with sarcasm, and when he teases Misaki. But the line should be drawn at that. They push it when ppl become white blobs and the "Three morons" are CONSTANT chibi blobs!!
Anyways, that's my uber long blog for today,,
Oh!! I almost forgot!! My major and minor finally came through... Major = Microbiology, Minor = English lit.
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay  < Happy dance>
Now i don't have to worry about paper work, or lack of subject options !!

My LoVeLiEs!!

As soon as i got in from uni today, the post came: The books that i ordered from Amazon!!
So excited!

Finally!! i have the forbidden game 1 &2!! all of these complete sets. i have the forbidden game pt 3(it was my brother's) and winter-smith but didn't have 1,2. i've already read parasite positive, but as it was my friend's, & i really wanted my own copy. i didn't know it at the time, but i had bought the mediator part 5 at the bookstore, so ordered 1,2,3,4&6  =)
20 KD for 10 books!! how great is that?! they're all new(except for the forbidden game, but after looking for them 4 so long for them i don't care that they're used!!)can't wait till the summer so that i can read them!! so many books, yet so little time to read them before summer course starts.. and i've got a lot of Tv to catch-up on, plus I'm already late on crochet orders. Looks like I'm going to be a busy bee this summer..
Wish me luck

Shout-out to all Bookworms!!

A girl at uni did her English presentation about reading. Being a fellow bookworm I was completely enthusiastic about the topic, what i really loved tho, was this video ad she showed us about how reading inspires kids. Honestly, it blew me away!! Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaATkGIFlxM  she told me she got it from youtube, so i just HAD to downloaded it asap. Speaking of reading, i'm literally dying to read the 17 books that are waiting for me (mocking and tormenting me EVERY SINGLE DAY) on my book case. Not mentioning the 10 that are in the mail,,,lol- can't wait till summer.
Totally unrelated, i finished sum of my crochet projects(yay) like my niece's blanket, and my aunts bag. my laptop bag has been completed, along with a few butterfly bookmarks. All of which i will post photos of as soon as my finals are over and done with on the 13th of June.

Eyes for Lies Blog

Eyes for Lies Blog
found this really cool site about Micro expressions(something I've come to like since first watching a series called"Lie to me")
There you'll find some links to tests to find out how well YOU are at reading micro(flash/instantaneous) expressions, WHAT ARE micro expressions? and much much more<>
This is going right onto my list of things to do. Along with learning Japanese, and how to drive properly(Got my license!!), finishing my crochet blanket projects, and getting through all of my subjects for uni.
Been working on my niece's blanket, it's coming along, but i ran out of yarn, so i'm going to hav to buy some more. Until then i'm working on my mom's blanket(i kno it seems like im playing it safe with blankets, but im not. I'd like to explore more aspects of crochet, i really do, but there are just so many orders! and most of them are blankets! lol
ill keep posting, but with uni and al my subjects, it's a little hard getting everything done.
Happy crocheting!! xoxo
